Introduction to Music through Me!
🎶 Hello and welcome to my blog! 🎶
This is a documentation of my fall semester where I will be taking singing lessons and guitar lessons. I am currently an English major with a minor in music. I have previously had only introductory lessons for singing but I am a complete beginner when it comes to the guitar!
So, I will be reporting on how I have improved mentally and physically through the use of music. As a college student, I am always stressed and I am hoping I can provide myself and possibly readers with some comfort from the arts. More importantly, I want to bring to light what I learn as a beginner and how I grow from that lesson. I tend to be completely honest with where I am throughout my college semester with hopefully an improvement in attitude!
I will also be attending and recording what else the music building has to offer. I want to support the rest of the people within the art building, so I will be attending all of the programs and performances I can. This may range from vocal performances or instrumental that can be jazz, classical, or a little bit of everything.
I hope you can get a little piece of the arts that are on Southeastern's campus through this blog!

Thank you for sharing your personal insights into the musical focus in college. I went to a very popular and sought after music-based university as a non-music major. The college music world is truly another world. :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed! It is very unusually, I feel that it is a hidden corner of the university!
DeleteI hope it was an enjoyable read! Thank you for the comment and your time reading my thoughts! :D
This really resonated with me. I started taking singing lessons with joanncchang not to become a performer, but just to reconnect with something that brings me joy. It’s amazing how much singing has helped with confidence and emotional balance—something I didn’t expect but really value now.
